Rabiu Ibrahim News
Rabiu Ibrahim, the silky smooth playmaker that led Nigeria's U-17 squad to victory at the 2007 U-17 World Cup in Korea is apparently in the 2009 plans of Super Eagles gaffer Amodu Shaibu. Amodu is prepping for Nigeria's second round of qualifiers and will be submitting a list of players for consideration when the matches come around. Rabiu is currently plying his trade with Sporting Lisbon in Portugal and is being brought on slowly by the Lisbon side. Fans in Nigeria and at Sporting Lisbon are eager to see Rabiu make the step up for club and country and we'll get an idea of where the youngster is at as he will be representing Nigeria at the African Youth Championships in Rwanda between January 18th and February 1st.
