Undefeated WBA lightweight titlist Paulus ‘The Hitman’ Moses (25-0 17 KOs) of Namibia, coming off a defeat of Japanese veteran Takehiro Shimada in July, is set to defend his title for the second time, against Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera(65-7, 43KOs) in Los Angeles on January 2010 according to Namibia Sport.

On paper this will be Moses’ toughest fight to date and his first fight in the United States; the majority of his fights have taken place in Namibia.

Veteran Barrera suffered a TKO loss in his last fight against England’s Amir Khan. Barrera will be attempting to become the first Mexican fighter to win four titles in four different weight classes.
