Super Eagles in danger of missing out on 2010 WC

Super Eagles of Nigeria supporters around the world are experiencing deja vu as once again the Nigerian national team are in danger of missing out on the World Cup. The Super Eagles have taken the last three World Cup qualifying cycles lightly and after almost missing out on Japan/S.Korea 2002(only qualifying at the end due to Liberia's inability to get the necessary points)the Super Eagles were unable to overcome dropped points in the 2006 WC qualifiers and this looks to be the case again in the journey to South Africa 2010. Yesterdays 2-2 draw with Tunisia in Abuja has put qualification for the World Cup out of the hands of the Super Eagles as despite wins in the rest of their qualifying matches, the Nigerians will have to depend on Mozambique or Kenya to take points from Tunisia. As expected, blame is being placed on a number of parties, from Coach Amodu Shuaibu to the ineffective midfielders, from Taye Taiwo and Dele Adeleye's lackadaisical defending full circle to the NFA.

First off are the highlights(Thanks to 2dramasports).

Next up, the post match blame game.

Can't blame the fans on this one- Fans delay the Eagles players from leaving the stadium.

Amodu's post match comments.

What Amodu's predecessors had to say.

Amodu is hoping for another chance to finish what he started.

The players got a bonus for the draw with Tunisia! Nuff said.
